Here are the best 3 air hockey tables with folding legs we could find...
Why Get a Table with Folding Legs?
Many people hesitate to get an air hockey table because they have nowhere to put it! While it may be fine in the living room for a few days, what happens when guests come over? Not only does it get in the way, but it runs the risk of getting tripped on or even worse - damaged or stained by spills and food. Luckily, we were able to find a few fold up tables which will allow you to have your cake and eat it to. Take the table out when you want to play, and put it away when you're done!
How We Made This List
When making this list, we had one simple criteria: it had to have air hockey and it had to fold. Unfortunately, there wasn't a huge plethora of options available. Every one that was available, was also around the same size so we were forced to keep things short and sweet.
Demographics for These Tables
We wanted to make it very clear that these tables aren't designed specifically for high speed competitive air hockey. As far as we could tell, there any tables with folding legs that actually exceeded 48" in length. With a top of the line arcade style tables being 99" long, all of the tables on this list are going to be a far cry from full-sized.
So who do we recommend these tables for?
Naturally, smaller and easy to store tables are great for kids. This goes without saying. Alternatively though, these tables make great fixtures for a small office or work environment. Even though you won't be able to play at full power, we all love love knocking around the puck (even on a small table) to unwind and generate ideas.
Pros and Cons of Each Table
MD Sports Fold Up 48" Air Hockey Table
As featured on a few of our other lists, this MD Sports Air Hockey Table is a solid no frills option when you're looking for something you can fold up. Granted, it doesn't have the strongest air flow on the market (not even close), but that comes with the territory. As previously noted, we'd mainly recommend this table for children ages 10 or below. It's far too small and light to handle adults playing at top speeds.

What's Great About This Table
Probably the best thing about this table is that it's low commitment and typically low cost. It's a great way to get the kids or grand-kids off of their phones and tablets without having to get an entire new fixture for your house. When they're done playing, it's easy to fold up the legs and put it away until next time.
It also comes partially pre-assembled with only 6 screws that need to be attached. compared to some furniture that we've put together in the past, that's a big relief!
What's Lacking
As you might be able to infer, what's lacking about this table is it's ability to handle high speed play. If you're a strong adult, you need to be careful about whacking the puck too hard because it could go flying right off the table!
Although we've seen some people complain about defective parts, it does come with a 90 limited day warranty so it's not like you'd be totally out of luck on the off-chance that happened.
For a similar table without the folding legs, check out the Harvil 4-foot standing table.
Funmall Folding 4-in-1 Table
If you've got kids with a short attention span, or are simply not sure that they're going to love air hockey, then the Funmall 4-in-1 is a great choice. Compared to the MD Sports table, it offers less when it comes to air hockey, but makes up for it in the wide variety of other games it offers.

What's Great About This Table
The big perk of getting this table is the sheer amount of games that you get and their ability to stack and store together neatly. With the pool table as the base for the entire thing, all you need to do to play another game is to place another one of the tops on there. If you've got guests coming over or need to clear the room for a different function, simply fold the legs and place it in storage with the three tables stacked on top.
What's Lacking
The biggest downside to the Funmall is that it's generally not as affordable as the other tables of this size. If you're in the market for a table that folds up, you're also probably not looking to spend a lot in the process.
The second downside is that the air hockey table doesn't actually have any airflow! This isn't a complete deal-breaker on tables that are small and foldable because even with air, these tables are not going to deliver arcade-style air hockey. However, given the price that this table was at the time of writing this list, we definitely thought it should be included.
PUCK Folding Air Hockey Table
The PUCK Calix 4-Foot Folding Air Hockey Table, is a Space Saver. This table is an interesting due to its leg design. Unlike the MD Sports model, it's more designed to store vertically as well as flat. While we can't really see that much of an added benefit, your individual circumstances may be different. Regardless, we wanted to add it to the list because we thought it was at least worth checking out.

What's Great About This Table
This air hockey table is simple, small, easy to store with no extra frills. It doesn't have the electronic scoring that the MD Sports has, but this also means that you don't have to worry about batteries. Although it's got similar legs to the Funmall 4-in-1 this table actually has air. If you know your kids are going to love air hockey, we'd pick it over the Funmall any day.
What's Lacking
Because the legs don't exactly fold under the table, the final shape once it's folded up is a bit more awkward than say the MD Sports Model (1st on the list). There's also no electronic scoreboard which means that players will have to keep score manually using the markers on the goal ends. Additionally, at the time of writing this article, we thought that the MD Sports was a better deal in terms of price and the amount of table you get. However, prices may change later on so we would recommend checking to see what you could get a better deal on.
*Because we didn't actually get a chance to see the table standing in action ourselves yet we wanted to add a little disclaimer, but it seems to be designed to do so.
Questions or Comments?
If you've got any questions on any of these products, please feel free to let us know in the comments section. Additionally, if you were able to find a bigger table that folds, we'd love to hear about it and add it to this list. We certainly wish there were more larger options for people who are short on space, but love to play high speed air hockey.
