If you have a very specific taste in interior design, you may be worried that getting an air hockey table is going to be an eye sore. Let's face it, even some of the best air hockey tables would look a bit tacky in a well decorated family room and some man caves. The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way. We've picked out three of the most beautiful wooden air hockey table options so that even those with sophisticated taste can enjoy a fast-paced game in their home.

Now let's check out some of these tables...

Selection Process

All the tables selected had to have some sort of wood finish. But in addition to style, I've also selected these tables to play well. They're nearly arcade-sized and capable of fast-paced play among adults.

An important note: Some of these tables might actually be made out of laminate or another material rather than real wood, but we considered the aesthetic to be the deciding factor. If you want a real air hockey table from 100% wood, you'd probably have to make it yourself.

Wooden Air Hockey Table Options

1. Harvil Beachcomber

Harvil Beachcomber 7 Foot Indoor Air Hockey Table with Overhead Scorer, Leg Levelers, and 4 Pucks and 2 Pushers

Sizing & Specs

Total Sizing: 84 L x 48 W x 31 H (inches)
Playing Surface: 76 L x 40 W (inches)
Weight: 189 lbs
Scoring: Overhead electronic scoreboard
Leg Levelers Included: Yes
Included Accessories: 4 pucks and 2 strikers

In-Depth Analysis

In addition to it's beautiful wooden aesthetic, this table is one of the better ones you could buy if you're not going to invest in a full on arcade table. It's about 15 inches shorter than a regulation table which measures at 99 inches long. At 189 lbs, it's a far stretch from a puny and low quality kid's table. The overhead scoring is also a much sought after feature which adds an extra layer professionalism not often found in some of the cheaper tables on the market.

For the amount of money that this table typically runs for, I think it's well worth it if you're looking for a dark wood finish.

2. American Heritage Monarch

Monarch 7' Air Hockey Table

Sizing & Specs

Assembled Dimensions: 84 x 48 x 32
Scoring: Overhead electronic and side manual option
Leg Levelers Included: No
Included Accessories: 4 Mallets and 4 Pucks

In-Depth Analysis

Sized the same as the Harvil Beachcomber, the Monarch is a great alternative if you want something with a darker finish. The brownish red middle design and the dark legs make it a great fit for a lodge or cabin that already contains many wooden elements. Everything we've already said about the Beachcomber, we'd apply to the Monarch. It's a bit smaller than full-sized, but is far beyond an air hockey toy. It's a sturdy table that you'll enjoy for years to come. The only downside is the lack of leg levelers which could be a hindrance if the room you're placing it in isn't completely flat by design.

3. Playcraft Derby

Sizing & Specs

Assembled Dimensions: 72 x 36 x 31 (inches)
Weight: 117 lbs
Scoring: Side-mounted electronic
Leg Levelers Included: Yes
Included Accessories: 2 Strikers and 2 Pucks

In-Depth Analysis

The Playcraft Derby is made in two finishes: Cherry or Black PVC Laminate. For the sake of this list, we've obviously picked the cherry. Even though it's the smallest table on the list, it's sill big enough for some decent "click clacking" action. If I had the space and it was in my budget, I'd rather get one of the other two tables on this list because they're bigger and more visually appealing (in my opinion), but the Derby makes an excellent back up option if you're short on room or find the others to be too expensive.
